    River levels have now peaked at Kinnersley Manor. Levels continue to rise at Leatherhead and Cobham, though currently remain below flood conditions in those locations.
    No property flooding is expected.
    Flooding is possible from 09:00 AM on 15/10/2024.
    Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Mole, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Leatherhead and Cobham.
    Further rainfall is forecast on Wednesday and Thursday.
    Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.

    River levels have risen at the Wedderburn Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible today, Tuesday 15/10/24. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Leadon. Locations that may be affected include Ledbury, Much Marcle, Staunton and Tibberton. Water may be out of bank at Upleadon Court.
    Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours.

    Areas affected: Hundred Foot Washes in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk

    Flooding is possible - be prepared

    River levels are falling but remain responsive to further rainfall. This information is correct as of 07:30am on Tuesday 15 October. There are currently no issues on the Earith causeway. The causeway at Sutton Gault has approximately 4 centimetres of water on the road. The causeway at Welney has approximately 1 centimetre of water on the road. Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places. The Environment Agency are liaising with Cambridgeshire Highways and Norfolk Highways, who will decide whether to close the roads.   21. Flood alert

    Areas affected: Tidal Thames riverside from Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir

    River levels are expected to be high as a result of spring tides and high river flows.

    The next high tide at Richmond at 13:00 on 15/10/2024, may result in brief low-level flooding of riverside roads and open spaces.

    Astronomical tide levels are rising. The river flow at Teddington Weir is high for this time of year at 165 cubic metres per second and is rising. We anticipate the flows to remain high for the next 5 days.

    Areas affected: Lower River Colne and Frays River

    Flooding is possible - be prepared

    River levels have risen on the Lower River Colne and Frays River today, Monday 14th October.

    No property flooding is expected, but flooding may continue to affect low lying land and roads, particularly in the Thorney Mill Road and Cricketfield Road areas, which may impact Riverside Mobile Home Park.

    The forecast shows little rain tomorrow with further unsettled weather going the rest of the week from Wednesday. Levels are expected to remain high and steady on the Lower Colne at our Staines Moor river gauge.

    We are continuing to monitor rainfall and river levels and will remove this alert when the risk has reduced.

    Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and monitor local water levels and weather conditions.

    Water levels have risen at the Sherborne Lake gauge on the River Yeo, due to last night’s rainfall.

    Flooding may affect locations near the River Yeo, River Cam, River Wriggle, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the Sparkford to Weston Bampfylde road and Deep Ford Lane, Chetnole. Property flooding is not expected.

    While water levels remain high on Sherborne Lake, river levels on the rivers Cam and Wriggle have now peaked and are falling.

    The weather remains unsettled. Further rain, possibly heavy, is forecast from Tuesday evening through Wednesday.

    We are monitoring river levels closely. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.

    River levels are currently rising slowly in response to overnight rainfall. Levels are expected to peak later today and begin to fall overnight.

    Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, Semington Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying land and roads between Melksham and Bathford. The flood gates at Holt Road may be closed.

    This message has been issued because some minor flooding to riverside roads and footpaths is likely today, Monday 14th October, and for at least the next 24hrs. Water levels continue to remain high, but are expected to soon start to drop back down to more normal levels. We expect to see high water levels around Potter Heigham, Wroxham boat yards and Ferry Road in Horning. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time.
