    Keir Starmer was quizzed about Labour's manifesto promises, weight loss jabs, plus his pledge to build 1.5 million homes over the course of this Parliament.

    "We were very clear in the manifesto that we wouldn't be increasing tax on working people and we expressly said that that was income tax, that was NICs etc," he said.

    "So I'm not going to reveal to you the details of the Budget... what I will say is where we made promises in our manifesto, we will be keeping those promises."

    On the government's examination of whether weight loss injections could get unemployed people back into work, Starmer said they could help reduce pressure on the NHS and boost the economy.
